Formerly published as two separate novels, they have now been compiled into a single volume, A Novel Approach. The reader is able to get to know the author and his sometimes weird and eccentric sense of humour before delving into his first attempt at writing a fictional novel.
Part one of this book, The Withered of Oz, is an autobiography of the author who, as a former Stage and Screen actor, director, producer and script writer, relinquished his career when his wife suffered a devastating stroke and he chose to become her full time carer. Now with approaching old age, the demise of his career and the restrictions forced upon him by his wife’s condition he reviews his life since the calamity and examines his current philosophy and discovers a humorous if sometimes comically cynical attitude to his current unexpected situation. However he finds he still longs for a creative outlet and decides to become a novelist to extend his talents.
The result is part two of this book, The Twilight Escort Agency, a fictional story set in Surfers Paradise, on Australia’s Gold Coast, a retiree’s paradise. The story revolves around a mythical Escort Agency for the more ‘mature’ client looking for companionship. After all, the author asks, why should Sex, Drugs and Rock ‘n Roll be the prerogative of the young? What about the swingers of the sixties and seventies? Are they supposed to be satisfied with a Nescafé, Nembutal and a Nice Nanny Nap? I think not!
Wet Ink Magazine, reviewed The Twilight Escort Agency as ‘A very funny book full of saucy and at times bawdy humour proving getting older doesn’t mean being over it all and is sure to make you see that sweet little old couple walking down the street in a totally different light.’
So in this edition you actually get two funny and sometimes touching and thought provoking novels for the price of one. An absolute bargain!

I am one of those difficult readers that if I am not consumed on the first page of the book....it goes no further !
Loving the fact that the author gets me in every time and all his books are so diverse .
I have cried and laughed and loved the storyline of every novel.
A Novel Approach : Very funny, touching, 2 part novel.of the tragic circumstances that lead to him bcoming an author followed by his first hysterical novel, The Twilight Escort Agency. Had a great laugh and a few tears.
The Tourist From the Light: The marvellous, entertaining, fascinating and telling of a thought provoking subject. If only the World would read this maybe their views on life would change for the better.
The Burning Boy: An exciting and fast moving crime story about people smuggling in the seventies that gives faces to the treachery involved in this heinous crime.
Code Name Millicent:- The Cat Intelligence Agent Who Came Out of the Cold: A must for cat lovers with a sense of humor. A charming, whimisical story of a feisty, feline agent sent on a mission to investigate the drug trade operating in northern N.S.W. which leads to intrigue and murder.
The Reluctant Psychic: - A Heavenly Murder Mystery: A paranormal story of a murdered female Police Officer who enlists the assistance of an eccentric Psychic to help her to solve her own murder but leads to other crimes and murders that seem connected to her own.

Having read quite a few novels from the Author Bryon Williams I am now a fan of his delightful writtings !
